A practical workshop method for designing observable, responsible and reusable agentic workflows.
Abstract
The workshop moves beyond prompt exercises by asking participants to redesign a real entrepreneurial workflow. It separates chat, fixed automation, single agents and multi-agent systems and introduces complexity only where evidence and responsibility remain visible.
Research question
Which parts of a real workflow should be captured, delegated, verified or deliberately remain a human responsibility?
Method
Participants map a real decision, identify source material and failure paths, choose the least complex useful automation level and define approval gates and reusable documentation.
Findings
- The right unit of design is the decision, not the prompt.
- Shared truth and correction paths matter before autonomy.
- A workshop creates lasting value when participants leave with an inspectable method.
Limitations
- The method requires adaptation to each organization’s access, data and governance.
- Synthetic analysis must not be presented as customer evidence.
